Ideas for inexpesnive, 2nd set of 19 wheels
Anyone have a suggestions for a set of inexpensive 19inch wheels I can mount my OE tires on for safety sake and use as a full-size spare?
Long story short... I took my OE tires off my G37S earlier this year and replaced them with wider 245/40 front & 275/35 rear Bridgestone Re050 RFT's. Originally it was a mistake since the auction on ebay I bought them from didn't identify them as RFT, but after I got them on I ended up killing my spare to install a subwoofer so it worked out. The problem is, as I discovered yestarday when one of my RFT blew (see my other post on the TPMS), I found out that no one in my area carries RFT tires of anykind, especially the Bridgestones I use and they have to special order from bridgestone which takes 7-10 days, unless I want to pay overnight shipping which I can't afford.
In this case I had the old OE tires, but had to drive to the dealer, have the RFT removed and the old OE installed and once the new RFT comes back will have to do the same thing all over again. If I had an extra set of wheels or even one I could have saved myself a bunch of hassle.
Any ideas for a cheap 19-inch wheel that won't look like cr@p on our car that I could use as a full size spare?
I did find a salvage place that takes salvage rims and resurfaces and repairs damaged wheels on Infiniti OE wheels but they currently do not have any G37 wheels. Price they list is under $200 for a single wheel which I would pay, but am seeking alternatives.
