Good info Neal, I wonder if that's just a Stoptech package on the Centric Premium Ceramics??

I had to replace my rears and found a deal on Street pads on Amazon. They had a "Used - Like New" in the original box and still wrapped (someone must have bought the wrong ones and returned them) for ~$18
Bro thank you so much, I'm going to make sure I get the correct setup because of you, you absolutely rock. This is why I love this forum.

I kinda got the idea in my head but I'm just a little confused when you say "if you want the slots to show up better you can mask off the area on the rotor that scrubs the pads" is there any way to get a pic of exactly what your talking about.

Tape it off like this but leave the slots exposed, this will paint the slots making them much more prominent, looks very good IMO

Hey guys I'm thinking of changing my setup for the brakes I posted about earlier, I'm thinking of (centric premium rotors part#120.42080) with some (Akebono pads part#ASP888) all from rockauto n shouldn't be no more than 250 for everything.

UPDATE!!! Total was $324 after shipping still a good deal.

Hope you didn't order yet~
You'll need (2) 12042088 Rear rotors, (2) 12042080 Front Rotors, You'll need ASP905 pads for the rears, you have the correct ASP888 pads for the front.
And a 5% discount code, enter in the "how did you hear about us" section in the cart

Hey blnewt, which setup is better in your experience. Personally I'm leaning towards the centric with Akebono, also the pads that come with the stoptech kit are the street select which are the pads with the least performance out of the 3 version that stoptech make.

I'd go w/ the Centric/Akebono combo or get the Stoptech Street pads (the mid priced pad, not the Street Select) on Amazon (about $100 for front/rear set) 308.08880 front 308.09051 rear and the rotors should be about the same price there vs. rockauto since shipping is free on Amazon.

Centric rotors with Akebono pads is going to be the setup n if I can find everything on Amazon I'll be spending 270 instead of 306 n that's only with the 5% discount blnewt got me, so once again thank you blnewt.
