Aligning the rear LCA bolt?

I am trying to settle on a rear ride height for my G on Tein Basis Zs and I need to remove the rear bolt and remove the spring to make the adjustment. I did it this weekend; problem is getting the bolt lined up is a PITA. I stripped the bolt on one side and ruined the nut on the other. Does anyone have any kind of tricks to get it aligned properly and easily?

hammer
pry bar
extra jack
patience
long screw driver
trial and error have to get aligned use jack to get it close then pry bar to help and if need be screw driver in the hole to perfect it. Then and only then put bolt in to ensure it doesnt strip!

I used an extra jack as well to get my bolt lined up when I did my rears, and the fed it through slowly with a ratchet after making sure both sides were lined up.

Found it pretty easy to lift the back on jackstands and use a floor jack to load the spring bucket, made it easy for me the few times I've done that.

Loading the spring bucket is not too bad; that's what I do. It's getting the bushing on the knuckle to line up with the holes on the control arm.
