Did you guys torque the top lock nut down in the rear? I found that mine made a lot of noise too until I tightened it down.

It's a common issue on the BC coilover. After I setup my Flex Z's pre-load correctly, 0 clunking in the rear. There is an issue with your pre-load, spring isolator, or the top of the strut needs to be re-torqued.

once I put like 500 miles on it my mechanic said bring it back and he would re-adjust some things...I'll have him look at the top of the strut and see. Cuz it is noisy at low speeds...sounds loose though it doesnt feel like it

I have no clunk. Top nut was loose from factory. Made sure to torque down before installing as another person had the same issue. After doing that, I had 0 issues.

And I am glad I peeped in here. Setting at the recommended 12 position works very well in the back. However, I always wondered wtf the rubber grommets were. I was planning on dropping the strut if I ever had to adjust. Glad I do NOT anymore.

apparently with the flex Z you can't preload the rears because of the seat position. They sit in the cup like the stock springs. IDK...we'll see
