Rear coilovers damping adjustment

anybody adjust their rear shock damping before? I have Tein Flex z so have to adjust it from the top of the shock. our car doesn't have opening on the rear to adjust it right or did it?

Gs do not have access to the top of the damper from inside the car. You'll have to pull it. For OE-style, that's not particularly onerous.

My Megan Street LP coilovers have the adjuster **** side mounted on the upper shock section, so it's a simple adjustment, just jack the rear up to get enough room to get your hand up there and turn the adjuster. AFAIK quite a few of the Taiwan sourced COs are that way.

You should look into the EDFC or EDFC-II controller to adjust dampening from the cabin. Otherwise you are gonna have to set it and deal with the setting.

EDFC is nice. but are there any ways that I can adjust it without taking off the rear shocks? I have it set at +2 and I feel it's a little soft my rear wheels are rubbing the liner...

For the tein flex Zs you should be able to get access to the dampening **** by removing the black rubber piece near the top of the shock.

I've marked it with an arrow in the photo below.

The Pro has 4 wheel independent automatic adjustments for longitudinal and lateral G forces and speed. The EDFC II has 3 static presets for front and rear. So the front pair ot rear pair of shocks are not independent.

You should be able to access it by just taking the wheels off. Assuming that you can reach up there, you don't need to remove the struts.

I just got the Flex Z's also but I did not get the EDFC controller. Not sure if that was a mistake yet or not. LoL. OP, are your coils a little noisy in the rear at low speeds? Clunky?
