So I just got my first G37 a few weeks ago. I own a G35 and FX35. I have a bunch of dash lights on. The brake only comes on every once in awhile when I get on it. I checked the tire pressure, brake fluid and the remote key works fine but all these lights are on. Any idea why all this lights would be on?
2012 G37 coupe S
I am new to the 37s and its been awhile since I have worked on cars in general so I would def say I am a newb. I also posted this in the newbe corner. Sorry for the double post. I am still learning my way around this forum.

Thank you!
Looks like key battery is low, TPMS (mine is always on even though tires are fine), and traction control is off..
For the TPMS indicator, are your wheels/tires OEM that came with the 2012 coupe S? If the wheels are not original, you should also consider the possibility that one or more of the sensor batteries are dead if the wheels came off an older model or the sensors removed.
My TPMS sensors act up when the outside temperature is drastically cold or hot, I assume it changes the air pressure enough to throw them off. Just have to go even the tires out at the gas station and it goes away for the season. Other than that, the key battery is a no brainer and the TCS is just off.

They are not OEM they are aftermarket. I didn't change them it was whoever owned them before.
What size tires do you have? Did all of the lights come on at the same time? The key light should be unrelated to the others.
They were all no when I bought the car so I can't really answer that question. The tires are 18in. I just added some pics of the car and wheels that are aftermarket.
I am going to change the battery in the key and see if they fixes that light.

It did get cold recently but I checked the pressure and they are all right at 34PSI.
The TCS light that is on is not the on and off light that shows on a different part of the dash. I will try and send another pic of that light. The light that is on is showing TCS has kicked in but just comes on when I am driving it pretty normal. Not sure why it would kick in.

What are the specific tire sizes? 225/50/18 or something like that? It could be throwing off your traction control if there is too much difference. Also it is possible there is no TPMS in your wheels or one or more is not working properly (needs to be recalibrated or replaced). And did those wheels come off of a Maserati?

Wow! I never even put the two together. Looks like they came off a GhiBli.
Well damn I really like the wheels, maybe I can get some Infiniti caps to replace the Maserati ones.
Anyways the tires are 245/45/18. I have a Tires Plus I trust to work on my old 2003 G35 can I bring the car there to look at the TPMS or do you think I need to go to Infiniti for this?

I'm sure he can do that for you. Either you don't have any TPMS installed, or they are out of battery or need to be re-calibrated. I'm betting you don't have the right TPMS or none at all if they came off a Maserati.

Ok cool thank you. I will have them look into it. If there isn't any can they install OEM sensors in these wheels? Also can I turn off that light some how? I don't really care so much about the tire pressure I check them anyways and if I get a flat I'll know eventually. I lived without one for my whole life and the ones in my wife's FX are more annoying then do any good.
If no sensors are in the wheels, yes they can be installed. It's cheaper to go aftermarket. Just have them tested BEFORE being installed to make sure they will give talk back to the tps system. They will deflate the tire, unbead it, and install the sensor (at the valve stem)
I bought one brand at autozone, and it didn't work. Returned it, got another brand at Napa and it worked fine.....
The key light on the dash indicate a problem with your steering lock system on the car. That steering lock make's lot's of problems on other nissan car's that use the same electronic steering lock system (370Z, GTR, Juke, etc...).
Disabling the steering lock will fix the key light issue on the dash. There are lot's of threads on 370Z forums, GT-R forums and even on this forum regarding the steering lock module issue.
The TPMS light is related to an absent, out of sync TPMS sensor or a TPMS sensor with a dead battery.
