its brake time again
its brake time again
hey guys its that time again looking to get some ideas here
coming from centric premium rotors/stoptech street pads
had this for about 40,000km 2yrs and change the performance was great
the brake deposits on the rotors causes some judders and my rears are done and need replacing and the fronts are juddering with about 30-40pct pad life
so i will be changing it up, i remember this set up squeels a bit and dusted quite a bit as well but the stopping power was great
thinking of switching it up to centric premium rotors and hawk ceramics
anyone running this combo?
my main wants this time is
1.performance/feel
2.noise
3.dusting
bought previous set at kns and trying to get quotes now to see where to get the best price, if you have any ideas it would be appreciated

I was struggling for some time with juddering problems and i finally solved the problem.
I also tested many pads and rotors.

I hope will help you solve the juddering problem and chosing the best pads for your needs.
BTW!!!! resurfacing the rotors will help ALOT on solving the juddering problem but ONLY if they are resurfaced with ON CAR lathe.
On car lathe will also compensate for any minor hub runout.

I just got the posi quiets installed last week, and I'm not sure on the performance. It's definitely quiet, but I feel like it doesn't bite as hard as OEM did (non-sport brakes). I also didn't bed them in because Centric said no bedding in is required for the posi-quiets. Any of you guys have similar experiences?

I tested this brake pads and many others on non-sport brake setup.

Beside, you will get the judder back in short time if you didn't resurfaced the rotors.
