Just not sure on spending the extra 800-1000 for the calipers when for what I use the car for the oem work fine. My rear pads are at maybe 10% so figured I'd change everything. Also I get a brake light on my car a lot on the speedo that comes on during acceleration and goes away when slowing wayyyyy down. Anybody seen this before?

I'm not the best person to respond about upgrading the calipers, but IMO it's a nice, but unneeded, upgrade. The OEM non-sport brakes work just fine. But if you like modding and beautiful hardware....well....I say do it.

I just put on new pads and fluid went right back up to full.

Or if I should upgrade while I'm doing this what bushings and or links would you recommend?

Also Lorenzo to answer your questions about the brakes I would recommend saving some money and upgrading your breaks this way especially if you don't care about aesthetics in the mean time. This route will be fine unless you plan on doing some heavy track days with real technical turns and braking spots. But you may also have nothing to worry about if you upgrade the break fluid as well and include some stainless steel brake lines.

Also you can part an brake upgrade this style much cheaper by using sites like rockauto and the sorts. But Z1 does have a rock solid setup if you dont want to search and worry about everything matching cause they are selling it as basically a compatible kit
I just installed a 370Z rear sway bar in my X. You will have the use the bushings from the larger bar, but the bracket and bolts do not need to be swapped. It took me about an hour to install the sway bar. To be honest, it's probably the best bang for the buck mod for these cars. The thicker rear sway removes the factory understeer and the steering is more responsive. Overall, the car is much more balanced and neutral. I am not sure why Infiniti didn't put a thicker bar on the X from the factory.

Lorenzo, I'm going to purchase this package from Rock auto it should provide the same performance as the Z1 Motorsports package and with shipping its cheaper then their package. Although it does not come with stainless steel lines, you can probably purchase them cheaper and add some high performance brake fluid and still come out on top. catalog number: K11426
