Help with Swift Lowering

Hello All ,

I have been in the market for some swift spring and alignment kits. I have read several things regarding how Swift Springs are of high quality, however, some people who also have AWD models saying they are not working properly, or simply feel like they are going to fly off the road.

I was wondering if anyone could provide a link of exactly what I will need. To do this lowering process and not **** anything up in my car...

That would be great.

Also, I have read that it is wise to buy the journey back axel because it is thicker in mm.

Thanks to all that help

I have swift for the last 4 months, drives fine, car feels very firm on highway driving. I had to do wheel alignment the other weekend because it was off, now everything is fine.

Also keep your old springs around if you do it. Firestone has special for wheel alignments. $180 for lifetime alignments per car, $80 for just one time alignment.

Could you provide a link where you got your springs and camber kits?

Got them from ebay, no camber. All stock suspension. Drop is mild so it wont wear as much as if it was stiffer/ lower over time.

I think that thread about the Swifts making the car "fly off the road" was due to balding tires.
I'd recommend at least the rear camber kit w/ the Swift drop.

If I did it again I would get springs and front and rear camber kits installed at once and go for an alignment after around a week. My car drives so much better after the camber kits and getting the alignment back to stock specs. It's a $1000 plus to do it right. And if you think you want it lower than Swifts, just get coil overs and camber kits.

Just to put OP's mind at ease, that was indeed my thread and after a new set of tires everything is A-Okay. Car feels planted to the road and feels much tighter all around.

I got the front and rear camber kit from Luke at THmotorsports. If you ask for him he's got a special deal for us since he's the vendor for this forum.
