To Coilover or to NOT Coilover ?!

Gents,

I've been reading several posts about the advantages and prices regarding coilovers versus just doing just springs. A few considerations and suggestions on what to do on My model of ride would be appreciated...

I have a 2010 G37x coupe on 19" Rims. I want to lower my ride (especially in the front) where the fender to wheel stock gap is ridiculous... It's not as bad in the rear. I don't want to drop my car crazily to the point that my fender wall is almost touching my wheel but i'd say a good inch in the front and half in the back... It's more for look than performance for me.

What do you guys recommend as a sprint kit for my X and what are the total implications involved.

Also, if I were to go coilover, which ones would I do? I notice many only work on the RWD models...

Thanks!

Fortune 500s get overall good reviews, some noise issues have been reported.
K-Sport is a "true" coilover (no separate springs/shocks in back) and not much feedback but the lone review is good.
BCs seem to be hit or miss.
Megan Racing should be similar to BCs (I have them on my RWD and they've been decent but YMMV on a AWD).

If you just want to reduce the gap look into Swift, Eibach, or Tanabe lowering springs.
