Cusco Strut Powder Coat Cost

Looking to get the Cusco Strut Bar for my G37x Coupe from Tunerz Store and they quoted me $140 for powder coating the bar red and the end links black. Total should be $330. Does $140 sound good or too high?

I can get rims done locally for $50 a rim. Since you're coating two colors it sounds like they are charging $70 a shot. Look around locally and see if you can find a non-automotive based powder coating shop and they'll probably charge you less.

I had my Cusco bar powder coated a couple of months ago (black chrome). I made some grounding wires that closely matched the blue Cusco bar brace, so I only had the bar itself powder coated. The black chrome was $90 and I had them finish with a coat of clear chrome to get a bit more shine to the bar. Total cost was $120. You could probably get yours done a bit cheaper than what you were quoted, but it doesn't sound too bad. Oh, and also, the shop that did mine also does rims for $50/each, so I'm not sure why my bar was a more expensive job, but...

If you'd like to see, here's how mine turned out: Black chrome powder coated Cusco bar

You might just want to get the bar that I just got, it's already red and fits like a glove (and it's only $130 shipped)
