HELP 2008 G37s rear brakes

Got the rear brakes pulled off my wifes g37. outboard piston on driver's side caliper will not compress. Its actually out further than when I started after breaking a 4" and a 12" c clamp trying. Can't even fit old pads back in now. Inboard piston pushed in by hand with no c clamp. Any ideas? Is there something I am missing?

never mind. I was not aware a mini sledge was a required tool for doing brakes on an infinity. New brakes are on and working good now

I remember doing brakes on a friend's car years ago and the pistons needed to be twisted as they were pushed back into the caliper.

Is it possible this was the problem..?
