OP sell them and get something better.
Don't mean to start a fight, but how the hell can you call Tanabe a "good" c/o? There's so many horror stories about blown struts (after very low mileage) and Tanabe not warranting them it's crazy.

You speak truth sir. I think have the only set of G37 Tanabe's ever sold to NOT have problems. The ones for this application are not up to par with their usual offerings in the past and they have been bad about denying any warranty claims on them when they leak.

Just an update on this. I changed my rear springs out from 12K to 20K (BC GTR Coilover rear spring) and the height is now perfect for me. Oh, this was lowered from the heighest setting also for the vert (due to the weight). The damping was adjusted from the stiffest to 4 clicks from the stiffest setting. No noises also.

How's the ride w/ the stiffer spring rate, seems like it would be pretty jarring.
Glad you're noise free

It's perfect now for the vert. I'm not bottoming out on big dips and the damping is working fine.

Someone stated that there should be a rubber spring buffer in the rear? Was this supposed to come with the springs? Or do you trim down the one from the old ones and put it on top?

Anyone tried this?
have you found the fix to this im having same problem?
