The AWD front coilovers are different from the RWD ones. As you can see on my last unpackaging picture, the front coilovers have a round bottom that attaches to the fork. The RWD front coilovers already have a bolt hole on the bottom of the coilover. It almost looks like the rears. There's no torque spec for that bolt.

I'm waiting to hear on how these are. I am thinking of making the switch to these with the swift upgrade this winter. I love the swifts I have now but they definitely need a better set of struts as I experience a lot of the crashing and jarring on a bumpy highway. I think a good set of coilovers that are setup correctly would make the X an absolute blast on a road course.

I know what you are talking about , if you look at the link I posted on page 31, there is a bolt at the bottom of the fork which you can remove, that bolt has torque specs.

After a long day I finally got the coilovers and camber kit installed. Got a lot of battle scars getting them in but put everything to stock settings for now. Figured I'd let the springs adjust before I drop it. I won't be doing the write up because I didn't take pictures but will be putting my input or feedback on the install and ride feel.

I'm getting my alignment done as I write this. The person doing the alignment can't get the right rear(passenger side) toe in any further. The bolt is in the most inward position and it's still off. Any suggestions on what can cause this?

Did you get the SPC toe bolt kit? The inner side of the slot needs to be elongated to give enough adjustment range to get your toe in spec w/ the new SPC toe bolts.
With OEM toe bolts they don't have enough range

Yes. I installed the new Spc bolt and elongated the slots. The bolt is all the way towards the inner part of the car and it's still out of spec. I don't know if their equipment might be off, but I'm going to raise the rear maybe a 1/4" and try to elongate the hole a little more and see if that'll help. Just kind of upset I spent the whole weekend installing everything and for them to tell me they couldn't get it aligned all the way. I won't even mention the battle scars I got from banging my fingers up during the install.

On another note, I didn't realize how much a pita it is to adjust the height in the rears for the G's with the seperate springs.

The rears are pretty easy once you get used to it, just mark the shock collar the same distance that you adjust the spring collar to keep the preload set and you're good to go. Something must be off w/ the alignment data or the tech that's doing the service. If you elongated the slot as per the template (side facing the center of the car only is all you need) you shouldn't elongate it any more, you don't want any slop there.

How low are you to the top of the fender arc?

I could stick my thumb in-between the fender and the tire so I'd say about an inch.

I'm going to crawl underneath it tomorrow and see what I find. I'm hoping it's nothing serious. I could see that the toe is off by looking at the rim. I'm also going to adjust my caster and pull out my camber in the front sometime this week. Then back to get another alignment.

Something has to be wrong w/ the rear camber arm setting since your toe is maxed out. Might want to go to another shop unless they will recheck it for free.

Your spec sheet seems to be inaccurate. Rear camber range on my sheet is -0.75 to -1.75 degrees. This means you need more negative camber on the one that is "in spec" and the one that is "out of spec" is within the ideal range.

Agree with Ryne, my sheet says specified range for rear camber is -1.8 to -0.8 while toe at 0.00 to 0.23 just like yours. Front camber is -1.2 to 0.3 and toe -0.04 to 0.12

So after multiple times of jacking up the car and readjusting, I guess it paid off. Here's what my numbers look like now.Name: 65ee4d33-0098-4743-a2c4-5647dd7f5439.jpg

I'm not 100% sure how low the measurement was, but i'll double check later and update. It just seems that i get one in and now the other side is acting up.

I dont understand why you guys have different numbers though.

Seems like your factory specs are off. At -.8 your camber is gold, the right side toe is a bit heavy, it would be better to give up another 10th in camber to get the toe closer to zero, like -0.9 camber and toe similar to your left side, that would be ideal.
BTW that pic of your G w/ the 10.5 square setup looks awesome, are your tires rubbing in front anywhere?

Do you mean in the rear? No rubbing anywhere. Do have more poke than I expected but could live with it. Was looking for mor of a flush look all around but it seems like the fronts are flusher than the rear.
