Finally. The drop looks great.

I'll be heading back to the mechanic as soon as he gets his hands on a new tie-rod end, at which point I'll be asking what the hell that squealing noise is when I move the car in reverse.

Seriously... what could cause that? It's only in reverse, and is a constant squeal as I move, like the parking brake is on or something. Seems so strange that it would be occurring after the springs were installed. Maybe it is the parking brake. OMG, it's like nails on a chalkboard.

No cruise. The wife gets seasick. (lightweight)

I'm taking the family to Punta Cana for a week of white sand and beach drinks.

Maybe when the rears were replaced the parking cable got pulled out of the way? Should be pretty easy to isolate.

Post of a pic of this dreaded driveway when you can. If I can get up mine w/ my lip & drop I bet you could navigate yours, it's all in the angles

Your G looks crazy good right now!

Yup, Rochester's looks a bit higher in front so looks like swift needs to adjust their springs to make it level. Oh well, at least I can clear speed bumps in the garage now. Another pic of the car below.

G's looking Good ^^^^ the drop looks pretty even, front may be a tad higher but surely doesn't affect the overall look IMO.

Yeah, I notice it though but I'm not too down about it, but thanks for the compliment. Next up is to black out the chrome trim DIY that I learned from you my friend. Wish me luck . I will probably paint the grill myself as well as I did that on my coupe with good results.

Run with springs for a few years, then move into coilovers. At that point you'll be able to perfectly satisfy whatever you're going for. And you'll be upgrading your suspension while at it. Baby steps, man.

I think your car looks fine.

Been there, done that man. Coilovers are nice but after dealing with constant issues with road clearance (mainly garage speed bumps) I've decided my sanity is worth more than a few inches in ride height.

From: Framingham Ma,
My thoughts exactly, Plus a few years MAYBE we'll have shock and strut options? I'll never go back to coils

No cruise. The wife gets seasick. (lightweight)

So funny the front on the X sedans sits lower than the rear just slightly with Swifts. My Akebono's arrive this week, next up is GT spec strut, M and lower rear brace and I started looking into the Stillen Supercharger. My car came with a lifetime powertrain warranty and my dealer seems to be willing to cover the transmission and motor if they do the supercharger install. Also there is a great uprev tuner about 10 min from my house... If I get the warranty coverage in writing I may have to do it.
