((HELP)) CALLING All COUPE COILOVER EXPERTS!!!!

What's up Guys! I finally received//mounted my WORKs wheel on my 08 G37s Coupe after 5 month of waiting!! But here's my delema.. I'm am currently dropped on Eibach PK. Wheel specs are (F)19x9.5 +32 245/40x19 (R) 19x10.5 +37 275/35x19 Love the wheels but I'm not happy with the 19s on Eibach needs (MORE LOW)!! Lol! So I'm currently going to order TEIN Basic Coils..So my question is can I use my current setup with the TEIN Basic coils with out having to downsize my tires or do any body work and would rathrer not have to shave bumper brackets if possible.. I really only want to drop the car an additional 1.5" lower where it currently sit on my Eibachs..Thx!!

The question of having to do any body work is not coilover specific, it is lowness specific. Since they are coilovers you can just find the height on them that works without you having to modify anything. With that being said, I believe with an additional 1.5" drop you are going into the shaving bumper bracket territory.

Hey Thx terrible,
Yeah I guess I should of been more specific on my bodywork comment. As far as bodywork goes it's just the pulling of fenders I was not wanting to do. I was just hoping for someone that has DONE or HAS my current Tire,Wheel,Offset specs on TEIN Basic coils to comment on whether or not I could pull off lowering the car an additional 1.5" lower than my Eibach set up with out having to change my tire specs..

Your wheels will tuck in as you go lower and as long as you've got the camber arms to keep the alignment proper you should be OK. You might look into Stance SS coilovers, they seem to get the best reviews for a lower priced coil set, the Teins have some reports of blown shocks and the BC type coils have the noise issue.

Thx Blnewt, I will definetly look into the Stance SS with what u mentioned about the Teins above. I was just being cheap and looking for a quick inexpensive coil since I'm still recouping from my 3.7k splurge on wheels+xtras. I just waited sooo long for them to arrive and as soon as I got them on I was immediately unhappy with the look of 19s on springs and need to drop it more asap!
