Hi guys, I have 26k miles on my g37s and the rotors are warped. So I decided to buy the Dba t3 5000 2pc slotted series. I was just thinking of freezing/Cryo treating them before I slap them on, thinking mabe they'll last a little longer. Anyone think I should or shouldn't? There's a company near me that will do it for 35 a rotor.

 

What pads are you running. DBA should last pretty we'll without treatment if your pads aren't super abrasive

 

Always bought mine pretreated, but if you can get it done aftermarket at that price.. Do It! huge difference in longevity.

 

well the dba 5000 don't come cryo treated from factory like some of the stoptechs. I'm just thinking if I pay that much for rotors might as well do it if they really will last longer.

 

Can't Guarantee of course, but I got at least 3 times the life out of cryo slotted rotors versus stock on two separate vehicles. And I didn't mean you bought them wrong, just meant I've never dealt with cryo treating by itself. I would think it should yield the same results though.
