Powertrix Coilovers

Powertrix Coilovers
Update: I purchased Powertrix coilovers yesterday and had Charles Park, the owner of Powertrix do the install. I seriously couldn't be any happier. Charles gave me a great deal on the suspension and on doing the install. He installed extenders to allow damping adjustment from the rear seat. Also he installed 20mm spacers. I'm not sure if you guys realize but the Powertrix coilover are exactly the same as Stance coilovers. They are produced at the same facility in Korea and are identical. The ride is amazing and honestly feels as comfortable as stock which to me is amazing as I've owned cars in the past with coilovers that had punishing rides.
Here's a link to their website. http://www.powertrix.com/Z34suspension.htm
I bought the SS coilovers. Below are some pics.
Original post: I know that Powertrix Coils are fairly popular with the Z32 crowd. Does anyone have them on their G37? What are your impressions? Thanks, Marc

i got 'em
very good to me so far. no apparent issues as of yet. owned them for 3/4 a year now. selected them because they are the shiz in the z32 crowd and got a personal reccomendation. the owner gave me a good deal. damping is adjusted on the top for the rear shocks' so the owner drilled a small hole in trunk, behind the lining and installed extenders for me; theyre hidden pretty well.
regrets? yea, after doing more suspension research i wish i got a true coilover setup (this coilover option is coilover sleeve type) so that i could replace the 'spring buckets' with a toe arm; so my only toe adjusting option is limited to the OEM range (because i refuse to make the toe bolt cut outs). however, i have a very mild drow approx 27" from the floor to the middle of the fender and i have perfect rear toe. also, spl will probably come out with the mid links like for the z33s which are replacement 'spring buckets' with toe adjustability.

jujubii, thanks for your input. I've heard really good things from the Z32 community so I was curious how they are on the G's. I'm looking at all options. I had KW v1 on a previous car and thought they were a little too soft so I might pull the trigger on v3. Pay more and dial it in exactly the way I want.

I have powertrix coilovers on my G37 Sedan too.
Amazing ride quality and good dampening adjustment. I had the same install as jujubii it sounds like, the owner put mine in as well in his shop.
He is right that it does not replace the rear spring buckets, but I had no problems with drilling for the aftermarket toe adjustment. Dropped 1.5" all around and rides really smooth, and good handling characteristics around corners.
I would definitely buy them again especially because of the competitive price and good service they offer.

I've had them on for almost 6 months now, haven't adjusted anything but the dampening over that period on them. They're 15 way adjustable for the dampening, and I currently have it on 8. 5 or 6 is about the same feel as the stock sport suspension.
The thing that got me was the great price for the ride quality you get, it really just blows things like Megan coils out of the water, and rivals much more expensive types like KW v3.
I haven't posted any pics of my red g37s but maybe I should...

I'm at Powertrix right now. Charles is installing. He is also going to install extenders so that I can adjust the rear damping from behind the headrests. I'm so pumped. Check this out. The same company that manufactures Stance coilovers also manufactures Powertrix. I'm excited!
