Not until the second or third week in April.

I want a few weeks with the summer tires back on the car to establish a proper baseline, so I can appreciate what's different.

How many miles did you have on you bushings before you needed the tape? Is primary benefit squeaking or does it also reduce friction (I'm starting to think if it's the track junkies doing this the reason is probably the latter- in which case I'm interested)

Awwwwww. Someone needs a hug.

Well, you're in luck. I'm a hugger! Bring it in there, fella.

No hug needed, Ash, but I'm OK with it anyway. Consider yourself hugged.

You know, I may be a Garage Queen... that's not an unfair assessment in the context of how little I drive the car. And you can certainly take pride as a self-declared Track Junkie. But in the interest of civility, be reminded that I don't fault you your lifestyle choice to drive a sport-sedan with only two limbs.

But that's just me.

Feel free to Touché me again if you like.

The rears have been on for just under 15k miles, been there since around May last year.

I'm not really sure of the science behind it. My guess has always been that it helps keep more of the grease in place.

Thats a nice set of end links you got there. Glad they are withstanding the abuse.

So do you put grease and then the tape or tape and then grease or just tape?

Today was a nice warm day here in chicago (upper 40'sF). Put the summer tires back on as I don't expect further snow fall. With the car on the jack stands, I had a chance to examine the grease on the front bar. It's been about a year since install, and the excess grease that squeezed out is still tacky. No front end noise here.
