I'd be glad to take outer measurements at various points on the f/r rear. We do need to be consistent with the locations. We would need for someone with the regular journey/non awd/non sport model to do the same.

I do believe (not with 100% certainty) that the rear bars are the same on the journey/awd, at least as far as profile goes.

What we do need to keep in mind is outer diameters are only half the equation. We still don't know the inner diameters or thickness, and whether it is consistent throughout the bar or variable. All of these factors would affect the torsion rate of the bar.

Any suggestions where to start would be appreciated.
My recommendation will be Hotchkis Sways if you want to upgrade both front & rear.
Hotchkis Sport Suspension

Look in the here for Vendors selling the Hotchkis for the best price:
Brakes/Suspension - MyG37

Since you have a G37x sedan, you can consider the option I chose...

I hope this helps

Well... shined & pretty-ish. They're OEM with 12,500 miles on them, so their finish isn't anything to write home about. But there's no rust, no damage, and I did clean the bars best I could. On the other hand, the bushings are just tossed into a plastic bag.

I went on one last run yesterday with the G, picking up my kid from field hockey practice. OMG, the turn-in on this car now is so precise and controlled. I'm still somewhat in shock at how much of a change a simple upgrade in sway bars has made. Granted, they coincided in roughly the same time frame as new tires and a FSTB, but still... very, very happy camper.

And now I'm changing my sig line, LOL!

This makes me want to accelerate (ha!) my suspension mod program for the 'is...

Probably going to do Eibachs for the sways again, in fact.

@Newt: Just read your PM. Got quite a chuckle out of that, too. And not so much at your expense as it was that I completely empathize with the context of the "down low" from the wifey and stacked up car expenses. Agreed and thank you on all points, BTW. I won't ship until the 23rd, and we'll settle up then about shipping costs.

You know, I have to say this about my wife and yesterday's mod. She called me during the morning to see how things were going at the mechanic. Then again in the afternoon to hear me go on like a little kid about the changes to the car. And we talked numerous times last night, where she actually listened to me ramble on, genuinely happy for me.

Writing about it just now makes me realize how lucky I am.

+1. I am lucky enough that my gf also appreciates cars (not to my extent), but enough. She actually goes with me to the shops and hangs out while work is being done. when she bought her new Audi 2 months ago, she actually insisted we go to the tint shop asap. the following week, she wanted to go get her grill and foglight trim wrapped, as she hates chrome as much as I do. now she's talking about wheels and lowering, blah blah. it feels good being able to talk about these things with your significant other, and have them actually care and share the interest.

Actually my wife's been real cool about the whole mod thing, she really likes how it's all turned out. Just a lot of parts in a pretty narrow time frame that has caused some anguish. Plus I just started getting into the detailing aspect of our "hobby" so along w/ a new DA and pads, polishes etc it can add up pretty quick. It does keep me out of the bars though

That's funny. My reasoning is usually, "It's either this, or booze and women." I'm usually on my merry way with the G after that.

As comics would say, you're an easy room.

Your sport sways are cleaned up and secured tightly in Ash's original Eibach box, just sitting here in the corner of my office.

That box sure does get around.

I think that Louis Vuitton Suitcase is maybe worth more than the sways!
