It's OK, Ash. I've got tools, ramps, and relative competence to do the sways myself. But I'd rather slip my mechanic $100 and hang out for a while. He's a good guy, and truth is I'm looking forward to seeing him again. He did so much work on my last car, there's a history, you know?

Like Rad_slinger said, if I had free access to a lift, it would be a no-brainer, and probably somewhat fun. So yes, I've installed catbacks and headers and such before with cars on ramps only, but I also used to be able to touch my toes without straining my lower back, so...

Lol @ Rochester

Hotchkis is a respected and reliable manufacturer, as is eibach. You can't go wrong with either.

I would agree with that. But to address the new guy's question directly, Hotchkis doesn't make end-links for the G, just Sway Bars and fancy sway bar brackets. Unless their website is out of sync. But I don't think so.

So in the context of reviewing Eibach Sway bars, the answer here is that Hotchkis End-links neither do nor don't do exactly what they aren't designed not to do.

Odd question.

^ That. Plus, you're getting Hotchkis sway bars, not end links.

This is a fine example of why I never, ever rush into mods. It takes time to properly learn what you're doing. It just does. And just when you think you've got a handle on things, something comes out of left field... like BB here talking about re-greasable swaybar brackets.

Anyway, getting all jazzed up with credit-card in hand is a recipe for regret.

I was not trying to disrespect in any shape of form eibach just wanted more knowledge from experience g37 driver since I started to drive one myself since December and just after reading another post from someone who wrote.

quote:

" I could be wrong but i hear Hotchkis end links break. I could be wrong. I hear them saying that about Stillen sways but so far i had them on my car for about 2 years and i drive pretty hard and still no problems w/ it. I hope other get on here and can answer better then me."

and one of the reply was

"go with eibachs. have had hotchkis in for about 4 days and just snapped the rear driver's side end link on the middle setting lol.""

in other word I do keep up on my reading on lol

Hotchkis doesn't make end-links for the G.

You don't need new end-links with aftermarket sways. Unless you're lowered, in which case if or when they get sloppy, you can buy some strong aftermarket end-links and move on with life.
