KW coil over packaging (slightly OT)

I ordered some KW v3 coil overs a few a weeks ago, and i was super excited to get them, but when they arrived, the box was in pretty rough condition. Granted coil overs aren't particularly light.

Anyways, the tops of two of the coil overs had punctured one end of the box, and I guess there was enough play that the mounting braces (totally making up terminology here) were pretty bent also.

I was just wondering if other people have had similar experiences with KW coil over packaging. For all the great reviews of the coil overs themselves, the price, and the German engineering, I'm a little surprised.

In any case, I've sent them back and are having a new set shipped to me. The vendor has been very responsive and helpful. I'll probably put in a good review of them once everything is said and done.

*edit: images may not show up in line, but the links themselves work i think.

That sucks man. Hope everything works out for you. You have an excellent set of coilovers though and you'll be happy with them! Be sure to get some pictures up once you get the new set and mounted!

Thanks. I'll definitely put up some pics after I get these coil overs and camber kits installed.
