Hotchkis Sways and End links

Has anyone with Hotchkis sways installed on their sedan or coupe ever had the end link nut come off?

I took my G37 Sedan into the dealer for the Akebono sport rotors being warped. They informed me that my left rear end link bolt was just dangling and the bolt was stripped (due to all of the free play motion in the sway bar bolt hole). And yes, when I installed them, they were torqued properly.

Thinking about replacing the rear end links with these from Whiteline Flatout:

Whiteline

Oddly enough, I can't tell any difference in the drivability.

Have you checked if it's dangling yourself? Because warping sounds more of a brake pad problem then an end link problem. For the record my Akebonos warp too:/

Didn't know there were aftermarket end links available to us yet. Those Whitelines are a bit pricey though...

Well, the rotor warping was the initial reason for bringing the car in. Upon further inspection, they told me about the end link but wanted an arm and a leg for the labor so I opted to buy the part and do it myself.

And I take that back about it not being noticeable- as I paid more attention to it on the drive home, the handling was WAY sloppy and the rear end did not feel planted.

Stock end links appear to be up to the task but I put thread lock compound on the bolt this time around.

Yes, I had the same problem. I heard a knock on the rear passenger side when I took a tight turn, when I jacked my car up to check I saw the passenger side rear endlink disconnected from the sway bar and the nut missing.

Is this a bad combination? I have heard mixed comments about switching out your endlinks when lowering your car because of the extra load on the OEM endlinks.

I just replaced my rear endlinks with SPC ones which are adjustable. So far so good.

Don't mind the dirt ...i live in Texas :-)

See if MODME has another (adjustable) set, might fit the sedan.

Mine are still holding up.
