that's not terrible, but honestly, if you're at all capable of turning a wrench, this is a good starter project for diy modding. if you have two jackstands, you can do the rears yourself in half an hour tops from start to finish. then you can take the whole front assembly (spring and strut) off and take it to a shop to have them swap the springs out. better yet, rent spring compressors and do it yourself.

but i figure i rather watch someone do it so maybe next time, i'll be able to do it myself. but if it was like a 5k car, i'd do it without worrying too much...but it's a little more pricier so i rather watch it done right...then maybe i'll consider doing it myself.

the best part of modding our cars is..well, modding them! Not paying someone else to do the work for you?
The spring install is very straight forward. The rears go EXTREMELY fast. Just go to a local autoparts store, you ususally can rent a spring compressor for FREE with 50 dollar deposit which is 100% refunded when returned. The fronts you just have to take apart the end link, lower the strut, take off the camber arms and BAM! Put it back together.
The longest part of the entire process is ususally just compressing, releasing, compressing, and releasing the springs back on the purch in the fronts.
