Umm, yeah my G37S rode real smooth stock.

How much GT Spec stuff you have? That stiffens up your chassis and can affect the ride over uneven surfaces, which I'm sure you see all the time in NYC

um switch to airbags. most aftermarket springs will be shorter even if they have lower spring rates so it will not be a softer ride. non-sport springs are a good option.
