Going from a stiff to soft suspension

I'm getting tired of the stock sport suspension. It's just to stiff for my liking as a daily driver. I opted for the sport package cause of the front sport facia and sport interior. But I can't handle the stiff jarring ride. What kind of things can I change to soften it up. Such as the springs, shocks, and struts.

I have people in my car constantly and they couldn't believe how stiff the ride is. Since it's an Infiniti they expect it to be a quiet comfortable ride like Lexus or something. I've been in the stock (non sport) G37 and there still wasn't much of a difference in the ride quality. How come infiniti doesn't make cars that feel like your riding on air like Lexus. I've been in an LS460 and IS250 and it feels so comfortable. It can't be the tires cause the sidewall on most stock Lexus tires are very thin too and stiff and yet they still ride top notch.

Non-S springs, KWv3(adjust it to ride soft i guess), and Eibach pro-kit

I don't know about you but I always though my car was riding on clouds

i think you'd be better fit for a caddiii or a buick, if i had one of those as a daily driver they'd put me to sleep.

my car doesnt feel that stiff, maybe its just your shocks? u might wanna get them checked out make sure theyre in working condition.

Wow, I never had that problem on my stock sport suspension. It felt great, almost as if i was "riding on clouds" I'd definitely get ur suspension check out. But, if you got the extra cash go with coilovers and adjust them to your hearts desire.

I don't know if I would put those Lexus cars in the same category as our G37s. Lexus to me has always been more on the Luxury side and G37s in between sporty and luxury. Compare to other sport cars, the G37's suspension is pretty good in my opinion. Get some KWs and adjust to your likings. Springs won't help.

You guys have not driven or rode in a Jaguar! I had Bilstien shocks and that was on clouds.

And it was on Eibach Pro kit and super super comfortable. Compared to the G the G is very stiff!

Your best bet is probably get a Lexus. Those things have the smooth steering, soft suspension, etc. everything to make it a luxury ride. If you changed the shocks to soften up the G, then you'd still have a not-so-lexus-ey ride. It could also be the roads.. NY doesn't exactly have the best roads.

Thats interesting that you want a more SOFTER ride.. I prefer more of a stiff, no-body-roll kind of suspension.

Did you not test drive the car before you bought it?

I have Lexus customers coming in now saying how boring their drive is w/ the soft suspension and they get car sick with the bumps in the NYC streets. if you want a soft drive, get the Infiniti EX.

Well I just came from a GS300 and the stock suspension is a lot softer than a G37S, but the handling is also worse too. Now when you add the Tanabe NF210, to drop it it does get stiffer but the ride isn't improved that much either. The stock G's suspension is actually softer than a dropped GS and can handle a lot better than the Lexus. Stay away form any aftermarket springs if you want a softer ride.
