Here's the update, if anyone is having problem with the vdc light coming back after adding break fluid to their G ask the dealer to check the ASCD main switch, there's 2 of them, that may be the cause of it.

Those are the brake pedal switches. One is for the brake lights, the other is to cancel the cruise control activation. The ASCD "main" switch is on the steering wheel and is not listed there. The tech probably just botched the part call-out on that invoice.

I have the same problem currently and my brake pads and rotors need to be changed so i concluded its my brakes + the cold weather and icy roads.

Which problem do you mean? Are all the lights still on even after topping off the brake fluid?

WHY does this happen?

I understand the logic behind how if the fluid is low, or if the pads are low it can cause the light to come on... Or if the fluid is low and you drive around this can trigger a light... BUT, shouldn't it trigger a LOW BRAKE FLUID, or LOW BRAKE PADS Light to come on?

This is like saying low tire pressure will make the check engine light come on...

So AGAIN, WHY do the VDC OFF and SLIP lights turn on in these instances?

Why did Infiniti (Nissan) engineers program the computer to have those lights come on (and maybe actually have the computer turn the VDC OFF) just because the pads and/or fluid are low?!

Why does having low brake pads or low brake fluid mean the VDC shouldn't operate?

Also, why does the SLIP light come on?

The SLIP light has to do with traction, not the ability to brake in regards to the pads or fluid.
If your tires are spinning at a higher rpm than the transmission, that has to due with having no traction...

Does having low brake pads or fluid mean the tires aren't gripping? NO...

There is no logical explanation as to why these lights come on unless the tires are actually slipping or unless the VDC button has been manually pressed.

I assume it's because the VDC needs the reliable brakes to function correct.

My lights are on as well. Will I be okay to just top off the brake fluid with this?

Slip, vdc off, and abs lights are on.

Checked the code: c1109 and c1142 battery voltage abnormal and abs pressure sensor malfunction.

Got a new battery, lights still come on.

Took to a mechanic (may as well use my aftermarket warranty) the ABS module has gone bad. They are replacing it now.

I just replaced all rotors and pads on 2009 Gsedan X. Abs Vdc brake light are on after installed everything. No braking problem whatsoever. Fluid is all good. I'm gonna try to reset ECU tomorrow. Anybody had same issue after installed?
