No rattles from the rear camber kits. The poster above was talking about the rattles in the rear due to his coilovers.

As for the rears, what kind of "rattling is this". Its a full replacement so there should not be a problem.

Today I adjusted my front camber in a bit. When I installed them, I ended up about +0.2 degrees. Have not re-measured, but will do so tomorrow and post some new things I learned in the other DIY post.

As for the rattles, I am on Eibach. Took it out for a spin this evening and under normal driving, even semi-aggressive driving, I didn't hear anything. Thought all was good since I am sitting higher than those on coilovers. Then a found a parking lot with a few speed bumps to stress it a little more. Slow no problem. A little faster, like 8mph about, double clang.....pretty loud and definitely not there before. So I tell myself just don't go fast over speedbumps. Head home and hit a small pothole on the right side....single clang. I wouldn't call it a rattle. Not real happy.

So are the rattles from the camber kits or coilovers?

There is a problem with the SPC front camber kit. It appears to rub against fender well when suspension gets a heavy compression. The guys running coilovers just experience the problem more than I do since I am on Eibach.

From other threads, there appears to be a rattle with some coilovers.

The rattle is from the camber kit. I didnt think I was that low, but seeing other ppls specs I guess Im slammed. I have 25.375" from ground to fender apex and when the suspension is loaded I have 1" of clearance from the bottom of my fender well to the top of the control arm apex!! ONE STINKING INCH. I dont want to raise my car either. The arms will most certainly need to be redesigned. If they did away with the caster adjsutment, they could repackage it and take that danm 1" increse in heigth that accomodated the caster adjuster. If your caster is out you need something else besides a control arm to correct the problem.

Well crap! I just ordered this fu**ing thing for Her car. I planned on dropping it next week with Eibachs and put everything on at one time. I also have the rear camber kit, is that one making noise?

I can't chance putting these front camber arms in and them making noise. Does anyone have a picture of the clearance issue (fender well to the top of the control arm)???

I contacted Andy the first day I had the issue. He's well aware of it. If THM is in contact with SPC, that's good. I've been talking with Jeff Pagani @ SPC regarding the issue as well.

Well the suspension isnt loaded here, but if it were, the outermost part of the control arm (above the ball joint) slaps the fender well. I've got a pic on my phone, but I havent figured out how to send it to my email yet. I'll try to post it and you'll see the problem.

First let me say I am getting too good at taking these in and out.

Based on some measurements that I took today, you lose about 1" of upward travel with the design of the SPC a-arm. That is just comparing the OEM and SPC arms side-by-side. You lose about another 1" of upward travel because the SPC arm does not go up into the fender recess like the OEM one does. So ballpark you lose about 2" of upward travel. Add a little over 1" for the Eibach drop and you are now losing 3+" of travel. And even more loss for those on coilovers.

Here are some pictures I took today that may help.

Here is the OEM arm at the highest point.

Here is the SPC arm at the highest point.

Here is where the fender hits the arm.

Have they mentioned anything other than bump stops? I just don't see any other solution for the current arms other than bump stops or a redesign.

Hamsters... What would your recommendation be? I have mine on order and already shipped from HPA. I can likely return them. I'll be dropped on KW Coilovers and plan to be low. If you were in my case, would you hold off?
