correct. save the beer for after. make sure you rent an EXTERNAL spring compressor. rears are cake. fronts are stubborn sometimes getting off the front strut. 8mm socket over the top stud with an angled crescent wrench on the nut works well. search g35driver.com for a diy as the cars are pretty similar.

IMO, you'll need a compressor operated wrench (don't know if thats the right term) basically the ones you see in formula 1.. rent that one too while you're at it..
