Yea don't tightened those bolts too much or they strip so easily.

Thanks for the update, I have to see what the results of the other parties are, specially Max since he has the only rubber mount in the test. For the rubber boot, you can remove the upper 17mm bolt and slide the top mount off. The boot can create a poping noise if theres moisture around the lower area. You can take a paper punch and pop some ventilation holes so it has room for the air to escape.

Max has rubber mounts? what were the gaskets I received? they seemed like rubber to me.

i'll see if we can try taking the boot off sometime this week to test that out.

Max has rubber instead of pillowball replacements.

Max is sick. Sorry for the delay. If there needs to be someone else test these, let me know.

Sorry to hear that Max. When would this be able to be tested? Worst case scenario is I email you a ups label to ship to someone else.

Most companies offer a hard rubber mount in the top plate of the shock, in the g37 we have pillowballs instead of the rubber. The rubber offers a smoother ride, but not the performance. I can post some pics if necessary. Let me know.

Update: I took it upon myself to go to Home Depot and purchase some Gasket Material. I cut out two gaskets in the shape of the top mount and re-installed the rear shocks - making sure to re-torque, re-check, and re-preload.

Still have rattles.

After putting on the new spring adjusters, with the rubber grommet and plastic piece the rattling is actually worse. Driving my car now is actually a pain in the ***, because of the ridiculous loudass rattle.

I'm going to put my stock stuff back on.

If there are only a handful of people out of the many that have purchased, it leads me to believe that we have a faulty product. The other companies that have similar products out, do not have the same problems. Other people that have purchased the same items do not have the same problem, I wish that this problem would have been addressed in a more expedient manner. I have a $55,000cdn car that I have not enjoyed to drive, since installing the coilovers.

I dont have these coilovers but I know that if I was in some of these guys shoes I would demand a full refund. Seems like a garbage product and I hate putting down businesses but this is ridiculous. "Havent enjoyed my car since I installed the coilovers." If that isnt doesnt justify a full refund I'm not sure what does.

when I had my springs upside down "the wrong way" and using the rubber top perch, I had no rattles. Ever since the day I switched them around Ive had these rattles. I have mentioned this before but was ignored.

Also, C@ciQ confirmed that he experienced the exact same thing. When his springs were using the top rubber piece, no rattles and when he changes it to "fix them" per Pete's install instructions, he got the rattles too.

So may something for Pete to look in to, cuz these rattles are annoying.
