Not really. They are the stock rotors, no special metal or dipping process, and I haven't had the car in a situation were it would make the brakes fade.

Yes. Take off the wheels.
Remove two bolts that hold on the brake calipers.
Move calipers.
Slide off old rotors.
Slide on new ones.
Install calipers.
Install wheels.
Pop top on beer.
Sip beer and marvel at your new rotors.

There are the two bolts that hold the caliper to the spindle. You can access them from the back side of the calipers. You need to slide the caliper off the rotor in order for the rotor to come off.

Actually you slide the caliper off of its bracket and the rotor, so now the caliper is hangin' free, and then pull the rotors off. But DO NOT let the caliper hang on the brake line.

Andy apparenlty has raised his prices.. it's now $795 for a set. Here's what they look like out of the box. You have to grind off the excess Zink with a few miles wear.

Are these OEM Akebono rotors that have been machine slotted, dimpled and then zinc coated? What is the quality of these rotors?

According to Andy, they order them from a local Infiniti dealer so they are OEM spec.

The black zinc coated ones look sexy. Can you post pics of them after a couple of weeks being on the car? I'd like to see how they look with the wheels on after the coating is worn off the friction surface.

Also do you have to send in your stock rotors as a core exchange or is this a straight purchase?
