Replacing Rear Door Window Weatherstrip

Looking for any advice on how to remove and replace the rear door window weather stripping on a 2011 G37 Sedan.

I think I found the right part to buy Part Number: 82835-JK000 but I am not sure how to remove and replace. Any advice. Recently someone put the window up and part of the old dry rubber weather-stripping came out with the window.

Attached to this post is the EXT (Exterior) section of the factory manual. It is for 2012, but the procedure will be the same for your 2011. Pages 39 details how to remove that piece. Keep in mind, you will have to remove the interior door panel to gain access.

If you have not already, download a copy of the factory manual for your car from here.

Thank you, now trying to figure out if I actually have to buy two items, both the weather stripping and the moulding. Says to replace moulding every time it is removed.

That I am not sure. Perhaps some sedan owners can chime in with additional tips or info.
