So when I shift to Reverse, the parking lights do not come on and also my backup camera does come on either. My tail lights, headlights, and fog lights all come on. Took my car to the mechanic and he said that the back up relay is getting signal, but the computer inside the transmission isn't sending signal to power up the light. So he mentioned I need to replace my TCM. I mentioned to him to check fuse #52 or #53 in the IPDM, but he says that that back up relay is getting signal so that it's fused and working. Not sure if I wanna throw in $1k+ into parts and labor just for parking lights and a backup camera... Has anyone experienced this before and have any thoughts or ideas?

Does anyone know the circuitry or wiring for the parking lights and how they are supposed to come on? What's weird is when we did test the parking lights initially, one of them flickered on and off for a split second..

Not sure if this is helpful, but a few months ago, my Nav system started to not work anymore and took my car to the dealership. They mentioned that the radio head unit might need to be replaced. Didn't really wanna throw $1k+ for parts and labor just for Nav when I can just use Google Maps.
