Need Help From 6MT Owner (How are footrest clips oriented)

So underneath the carpet to the left of the clutch pedal is a foam block that is where your foot chills while driving. Mine is DESTROYED and I’m trying to fix it with flex seal. My problem is it’s so bad I don’t know where the clips go that attach to the styrofoam and meet and attach to studs in the car.

If anyone can access theirs, pull it out and take a photo of the back of it so I can see how the clips go I would be eternally grateful. I think all you need to remove is the fuse box cover and the kick panel to be able to peel back the carpet in that corner the and pull it out.

Here is mine I’m trying to improve for reference.

Layering in flex seal to solidify this cheap ****

I bathed my homemade undershield in flex seal and has stood our floods/turnpike/highspeeds/fluids/etc. I would have never thought about it for these pieces.
