Hello all, I recently installed my front switchback LED turn signals on my 2011 sedan and thought I'd share my advice, considering that I haven't seen very many people post about this at all.
I hope to answer any questions anyone might have or guide someone through the process.
At first, I went with the LASFIT Switchbacks, as they had a built in resistor into the bulb, but that overheats after about 2 minutes of flashing, so I returned those and went with Diode Dynamics
For the LED turn signals to flash at the normal rate, and toprevent hyperflashing, you need the load resistors as well.
Installing the bulbs is exactly how you'd expect to change your turn signal bulbs. https://www.carcarekiosk.com/video/2...n_signal_front
I used this set of instructions, even though it's slightly different from the 2010+ models, the turn signal bulb is in the exact same location, and the process is identical.
The difference with installing LED turn signals to prevent hyperflashing is the load resistors.
First, I recommend to extend the original wires so that you can mount the resistors somewhere they won't come into contact with anything plastic or any wires (they can get VERY hot).

Then, you can follow the Diode Dynamics provided instructions of using the T-taps to tap into the necessary wiring.
One end of the resistor goes to the negative wire (WHITE AND BLACK) and the other end of the resistor goes to the positive wire (GREEN AND BLACK)
After attaching the resistor wires, I plugged the MAF sensors back in, tested both (they worked great), put the airboxes back in, and mounted the resistors onto a metal plate which I screwed onto the car using one of the airbox screws as pictured, and ziptied the wires nice and neat together.
Fun fact I learned in the last few weeks is if you add halos with an LED driver, you actually need to remove the resistor because the signal will flash every other tick, the opposite of hyperflash.
Also, if you drop your LED bulb inside the headlight, it is possible to pull it back out using your child's tiny fingers, or if like in my case with no child available, a magnetic rod, your pinky finger, and about 30 minutes of swearing and cursing. Ask me how I know.
