Help Vibration on Center dash area

Vibration on Center dash area

Hey Everyone im new to the form , 2010 G37x awd Sedan the reason im here is that... im getting a rattle vibration sound coming from the centre dash console its only there when im at the stop situation holding my brakes with D drive in place when i release the brakes its fine , i thought it was the blower motor but check it wasnt it im not sure elese to check if someone had similar situation please let me know thanks

I had something similar, but it was like a buzzing sound when braking around 20mph.

You sure it's not the windshield cowl it's a known issue, just takes some foam tape on backside like frolic factory. It wears from water and weather

Not sure about the OP, but for me it was the plastic piece above the steering wheel. I did try the windshield cowl fix but it ended up messing up my wiper arms, so now wind noise penetrates through the holes where the wiper arms are bolted down. So the plan is to take it into the dealer because you can actually see the bolt area rocking back and forth after the blades move.

By saying this, lots of combinations could be happening but it could’ve been negligence that when I tried fixing it, it broke something else. I made a post in the original thread so hopefully the dealer can fix it.

Check out the plastics around the windshield. I also recommend checking the windshield washer filler neck, as if the tab is missing from that sometimes it sounds like a vibration from the passenger footwell/windshield.
