XB LED fog lights installed

Hello all!!

I finally installed my most desired upgrade today and I couldn't be happier. Morimoto XB LED Fog Lights. Purchased from TRS for a total of $157.87. TRS was running a discount code at the time and it saved me at least $25. Not a bad deal to me. Ordered Friday. Never got a email saying it was shipped but showed up at my door step on Monday. Was a nice surprise. Here's some pics during and after install.

Fresh out da box yo!!

Type I LED (Infiniti/Nissan Round) which is required for sedans. Angled for coupes. It seems these fogs are now individually packaged instead of being in pairs like I've seen from other members in the past. Just an FYI.

What's in the box. The paper instructions that are included here tell you to go online to Morimotos website to see the instructions. Funny.

Old left. New right.

Here is the divers side. Car jacked up. Weels removed. Splash shield removed. Makes for a nice amount of space to work. What you see here is an XtremeVison HID kit. Purchased this a few months back after seeing it as a recommendation for reflector housings on bulbfacts.com. First night I was disappointed. Aside from the obvious glare, the color was no where near what I ordered. I ordered 4300k and these lights turned out to be 7000K!! Never turned them on again.

Here's the pain in the *** passenger side everyone talks about. I contemplated removing the bumper like some have recommended but I figured the 3 bolts holding the washer fluid were an easy fight than the whole bumper itself. Turned out to be much simpler than I thought.

Fogs installed!! I feel like they're aimed a bit too low. I'd like to hear opinions on this. Just gonna be a pain in the *** to adjust if true.

Took a drive to get food after these pics were taken and immediately noticed a difference. My overall light coverage was brighter down low and even brighter on the sides. I am very happy with this purchase and think it's way better than LED bulbs. Has that nice projector cut off for a clean look and doesn't bother other drivers with glare.

****NOTE**** If you plan on doing this, pay very very very close attention to the way you set up the plugs in the h8 adapter. I put the plugs in the adapter and the polarity was off. Took me forever to take the plugs back out. Bent one so bad I thought I ruined it.

Man these are dope, they look really good. If only they were available in 3000k, I'd like to compare. I am sucker for the yellow fog JDM look. Running Diode Dynamics HID 3000k kit on my IPL fogs for over 3 years now, no issues and look great.
