I am looking to paint my stock grille to make it the same as the midnight grille. Can the stock grille be painted? A local shop quoted me $400 because of the sand blasting and other prep work.

Is this the case? Could this be done as a DIY project or let the professionals handle it. Is wrapping the grille a better option?
