Dome Light Malfunction
So I went out and got the full LED kit replacement for my 2011 M37 (sorry, been a member here for two Gs before, but can't find an M forum). All the lights work like they're supposed to except my dome lights. They work, but only when I push the button to turn them on. The unlock and door open don't turn them on anymore. Figured this was more of an Infiniti question than a G vs M question. Any and all help appreciated.

maybe u have the dome light switched to not turn on when the doors open (kinda dumb/obvious but ive seen dumber here)?. or the switch is no good

This is described in my Q70 owners manual pages 2-60, 2-61
INTERIOR LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH
When the ON switch*1is pushed on, the map lights and rear personal lights (if so equipped) or rear spot light (if so equipped) will illuminate. When the switch is turned off, the lights will not illuminate,regardless of the condition.*2DOOR OFF When the DOOR OFF switch*2is not pushed on, the map lights and rear personal lights (if so equipped) or rear spot light (if so equipped) will illuminate under the following conditions:
.ignition switch is switched to the OFF position— remain on for about 15 seconds..doors are unlocked by pushing the UNLOCK button on the Intelligent Key or door handle request switch with the ignition switch in the LOCK position— remain on for about 15 seconds..any door is opened and then closed with the ignition switch in the LOCK position— remain on for about 15 seconds..any door is opened— remain on while the door is opened.When the door is closed, the lights go off.When the DOOR OFF switch*2is pushed on, the map lights and rear personal lights(if so equipped) or rear spot light (if so equipped) will not illuminate under the above condition. The map lights and rear personal lights (if so equipped) or rear spotlight (if so equipped) can be turned on only
with the ON switch*1.

theres also the door switch. this does funky things with the dome light if not screw on tightly or the wires missing or bad
