hey everyone. i just wanted to ask i switched mt oem hids for the osram cbb but they are still kinda yellow. i want my lights to be whiter so thats why i bought the osram cbb. any ideas why its not very white? could it be the projectors?

 

What temp are you running? Anything under 5k is going to have a yellow hue.

Yikes, Not sure what's going on then. They should be white with a blue hue at that temp.

I was looking at CBB also, but several trustworthy reviews have measured the performance of these bulbs, the results were that CBB are noticeably brighter than most name-brand bulbs, significantly brighter than Morimotos and other Chinese bulbs, but the color temp in "K" is only around 5000K, despite being labeled as "7000K" by Osram. I have Morimoto LED fogs on my car, they are 5000K so I'd like to see if the CBB gets close to matching them.

Everything I have read about CBB says they are by far the bulb to get, but the 7000K label is wrong, but they think that is Osram's marketing playing into consumer ignorance regarding Kelvins.
