Rear bumper sensor paint chipping...
Noticed this happening on one of the "buttons" on the right side of the rear bumper. Does Infiniti sell pre-painted replacements for these? Is this common? I guess I could just use touch-up paint for it, but I'm guessing the paint is very thin in that area, so not sure how long that would last. Any input is appreciated.

Bump. Anyone? I was told that Infiniti does in fact have these available and pre-painted, but are very expensive. The service advisor also recommended against using touch-up paint on it or it could mess up the sensor/calibration or something along those lines. Anyone know where I can get one besides the dealership?

New: https://www.infinitipartsdeal.com/pa...ml?PNC=25505PA
Used: ebay, car-part.com, local junk yard.
I'd say remove it and strip the existing paint then buy a can of touch up paint and clear coat (Touch Up Paint and accessories | AutomotiveTouchup) and try painting it first. If it doesn't work properly then replace it.

If it were my car I would just buy a replacement sensor. Then again I have universal ones that aren't hooked up but are just to fill in the holes on my IPL bumper lol.
