Is it possible to adjust the glove box?

I've been having a rattle from my glove box and the other day I noticed it rattles over bumps as it isn't snug. Is it possible to adjust how it closes?

Thanks!

The glove box damper isn't attached. When you open the glove box does it fall open or does it open slowly? It's a little string looking thing with a loop on the end that attaches to a hook on the left side of the glove box. You can see it in the first picture of step 5 in this thread: https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...-box-bulb.html

Is there a cord attached to the nipple circled in red here? If not then that's the problem. If it is I'd say to make sure all the screws on the glove box and moldings are in tight.

Thanks!

I have some deadening materials from my Accord Coupe. There are times that I like to drive with the radio off and windows down (when warm). Interior and exterior rattles bug me
