Hi all,

So I did the common sport driver's seat mod of removing the thigh bolster steel bars a few weeks back because I personally couldn't drive the car very long without being in pain.

It's my wife's car primarily, and she was apparently in love with the thigh bolsters and wants the car returned to stock. Since the steel bars were cut, this leads me to either replacing the entire seat, or just the thigh bolster carrier.

There is a sport seat on eBay for a 2011 G37 that I could drop in for $320 as an entire replacement.

I've also found this part on eBay:2008 2010 Infiniti G37S Coupe Left Driver Sport Seat Carrier Thigh Support | eBay

It's for a 2008-2010 coupe but looks to very very similar, if not identical to the carrier used in the 2011 G37xS sedan.


Any thoughts? Would the second part work?

 

Anybody have any opinions or thoughts? I hate to pull the trigger on this part and rip the car apart only to find it not fit.

I talked to that seller. I was trying to avoid buying an entirely new seat by just buying the part with thigh support bars.

Also this seller refused to ship to anything but a loading dock.
