DRL wiring to Accessory and Head Light

Hello and good day to All, I'm a new member and really glad to have found and joined this wonderful forum!
I would appreciate much your input or assistance. I'm installing a universal 4 LED DRL on my '13 g37XS coupe. Controller wiring instruction says:
-Black wire to Ground
-Red wire to 12V Accessory or Ignition wire (so LED turns ON when engine is ON)
-White wire to head light (to enable automatic DRL off when HL turns on)

I have installed the LEDs and ready to connect the wires. I need help please on the simplest way to FIND & TAP into the ACC/Ignition and the Head Light wires (within the engine bay) to proceed per wiring instructions above.

(Note: As I could not find a 12V ACC. line, I was attempting to tap the Controller red wire into the Horn relay, however I could not pull out the relay - Anyone who know's the "trick" in pulling out the dang relay...I know i'll break something if I really force it. Or if anyone has other suggestions to locate and tap into 12V acc./ignition, and the wire leading to Head Lamp as well.)

Thanks much for your help!!

I just did a lot of work on my headlights, but not adding a DRL module.

However, when I installed a DRL on my Acura TL, I tapped the windshield wiper lines for ACC power. You are looking for anything that goes hot when the ignition is on.

As for the headlight tap, I'm not sure how you would get that signal. I'm assuming you will be running the DRLs in place of the parking lights. If so, why not just leave them on all the time?

Thanks guys for the welcome! I'm really glad having joined.

dwb993, thanks as well for your input. Yes, the windshield wiper would be my next alternate source for ACC power. I thought I'd try the Horn Relay first as it's easier to access (without having to pull out the battery) vs. Wiper fuse.
Only thing though, I could not pull out the horn relay - I'm going to ask again...does anyone know the trick to pull out/remove a horn relay ?

I'm also trying to tap into the headlight as I prefer the DRLs turn off automatically when the HL turns on.

my DRL module didn't need ACC power - just battery and ground - it "senses" when the car is on or off - i assume by voltage change.

shuts off the DRL's a minute after the car goes off, and has worked flawlessly so far.

Thanks Landshark. I was going by the provided instruction on the Controller box. I will try hooking up directly to battery like you said. Hopefully, it works like yours (which I'll post back later.)
I do still need to find a way to tap into the head light, for Auto Off when HL is On. Are your DRLs ON all the time?

I would wire it according to your instructions - they may operate differently. My DRL's are on when the car is on, and shut off a minute after it is turned off. I have mine wired to tube LED lights that I added, not the headlights.
