iJDMToy LED 7440 turn signals "plug & play"

Hey everyone! I'm here to review my experience with the LED 7440 turn signal bulbs from iJDMToy. They are advertised as plug and play with no additional resistor required to fix the hyperblink issue common with LED bulbs.

First of all I would like to apologize for a lack of pics of the actual product. You can find a DIY guide with photos of the product below. It is fairly simple to follow and takes only a minute or two (literally; maybe even less) to get one installed.

iJDMToy shipped them out very quickly via USPS Priority Mail, so I got them in just a few days. Shoutout to them for fast order fulfillment

What you get in each order: 2 LED bulbs, 2 pre-wired resistor modules, 2 heat shrink tubes. I made two orders (so 4 of everything) to replace all 4 turn signals. The bulbs come in a small box and the resistor modules come in a zipped bag, both of which are in a larger silver zipped bag (pictured).

Packaging: (the small white packet are reverse lights)

Installation was a breeze, as you can see in the installation guide. I won't explain how to install here as you can just take a look at the guide. I can say, however, that they ARE truly plug and play and take only a few minutes to install. The hardest part of installation is not related to the bulbs themselves. It's removing all the parts to get to the headlight/taillight housings.

Final product/first impression: The bulbs are SUPER bright. I was a bit hesitant to order any brand of LED bulb for the turn signals because I know a lot are very underpowered and not bright enough for functional use. I saw a friend/fellow member Sean (VIVID) roll up to our local weekly meet with bulbs from iJDMToy installed on his signals, and they looked pretty decent, so I decided to give them a shot. Thanks for the referral, Sean

Needless to say, they exceeded all of my expectations. I was also skeptical to the "plug & play" aspect of the description, but they ended up living up to their expectation. Absolutely no hyperblinking issues, no fitment issues, no installation issues. Very happy with the results. I would give this a full 5/5 stars.

Those look really good! Quick question for you... Do your front turn signals still illuminate as a parking light when your headlights are on (similar to stock)? I noticed that the bulb type is a 7440 and not a 7443 dual filament. I'm getting ready to replace mine soon and these same like a nice option. Thanks.

The 2007-2009 sedans use a 7440 bulb as they illuminate only when turn signals are activated (this is the way it's set up from the factory). The 2010+ use a 7443 bulb, they illuminate partially with the parking lights and fully when the turn signal is activated, as you described.
