Window Roll Down Issue

Hey Everyone,

I've got a 2011 G37x and the other day I got in the car before work, went to roll down my windows (all windows have auto up/down) only to find that the only window that will do anything is the driver side window but auto up/down seems to be disabled, the rest of the windows won't budge, and the sun roof still works as it should...

Very bizarre.

I've tried all sorts of resets and suggestions I've found on this forum but now at the point that I'm going to need to take it somewhere.

Anyone ever see this?

Thanks very much.

Yes sir, no luck.

I also noticed that my key fob works to unlock/lock doors but the horn "notification" (the beep after I hit the button) doesn't sound off.

Nothing odd has happened lately. Parked my car one night and it all worked, woke up the next and it just stopped.

Thank you.

From: Framingham Ma,
odd thing but maybe the car battery is starting to go, also can you roll the windows down by just holding down the unlock on the key fob and roll them up using the key in the drivers door( outside LOL) turning it to lock and holding it there?

Is that a feature these cars have?
Definitely trying this when I get off work.

I've been thinking I may need to replace my battery.

This is great, I'm going to get this taken care of ASAP and hopefully it resolves the issues.

Thank you!

Did you press the button that disables the windows? It's the button right by the door lock. I usually do that after I wash my car so I don't get water streak if I accidentally roll the windows down.

Did you try hold down both the lock and unlock button at the same time? This disables/enables the horn when you lock the car.

Did you try this reset method?

Have all windows rolled up. Start with one window and roll down halfway. Then pull UP and hold for 4-6 seconds. Repeat for other windows.

But usually when you unhook the battery or something along those lines, it resets and disables the AUTO up/down feature and you have to manually set it up.

This.

I'm wondering if my battery isn't waning and reached a certain point...and I left my interior lights on overnight recently...

You guys are all awesome, this has all been so helpful.
