G37x no start

OK. First time posting on here. But I am at a loss with this car. It's an 09 G37XS. Took it in to Infiniti BC it was throwing a few different codes. After three days they finally call me an say the intake cam gear is bad. After hearing the quote, I picked up the car and brought it home. Ordered a new gear and installed. Timing is dead on. I know for a fact. Triple checked it. Let it sit overnight to allow permatex to dry. Went to start next day, push the button and it just turns over. Try again same thing. No codes, no nothing. So I unplugged the drivers side cam position sensor and the car fires up and runs perfectly. No miss, nothing. Drive it down the road, runs good. So I come back and plug the sensor back in, car is still idling fine. Figured it may have been a glitch so I check the codes. Pending code for cam position sensor, go figure. Lol. I delete the code and the car dies. Won't start again til I unplug cps. Please, any help would be great.

I can't picture what the "intake cam gear" is. Our cams are driven by a chain.
Is this part of the VVEL actuator or the VCT actuator? Could you post a pic or part number?

When you say "unplug the cps" I assume it is the cam position sensor and not the crank position sensor.

I was trying to help another member with a similar issue: unplug cam position sensor and he gets spark. If he plugs it in -> no spark.

It seems like if the ECU does not see the correct timing of pulses from the crank/cam sensors, it does not fire any plugs. I know you have checked the cam chain timing, so I would look at using a digital storage oscilloscope and see exactly what the ECU is seeing from the cam position sensor. You cam compare bank 1 to bank 2.

Some cam position sensors are very sensitive to the spacing and the air gap must be a specific dimension. Were there any shims under the cam position sensor?

Mine turns over and dies instantly

My first post here so let me apologize if this shouldn't be here but I could not figure out how to start a new thread.

I just got a 09 G37x automatic about a month ago. Car was a one owner that appears to be near flawless condition and very well maintained. A little less then a month after purchase I get, in start it and it dies instantly. Try again (about 3 times or so) same thing. Engine turns over then shuts off right away. Had things to do and it was late, so I let it sit over night and came back the next day with the plan to tow it to the dealer. Got in the car n now it starts right up n keeps running only the SES light comes on. I went to autozone to have the code checked and it comes back one code P2103 indicating a faulty Throttle control motor relay or a short circuit in that system or poor connection within that system. I would love to just replace the relay (should be easy, quick and cheap) but I can't seem to find any info as to where it may be located. Scouring the internet for this code brought up ZERO and a little less then a week later the SES light disappeared. I thought it might have been some minor glitch or something. Now a week a later I get in the car in the morning and it happens again. This time I need to get to work so I tried to reset the ECU (successfully) but still starts and dies instantly. I decide to unplug the negative battery cable for a minute and plug back in, which worked and now here I am. I know this issue is not gone forever it may happen in a couple hours on my way to lunch. Any information on a possible fix (preferably a DIY, I don't have a few thousand dollars to go to the dealer) for the P2103 code would be very much appreciated.
