H11 FOG CRACKED From Road Rock, Easiest way to remove and change.

Hey guys, I was driving and just realized that I must have had a road rock hit the IPL H11 fog light which caused it to crack and break. What is the easiest way to replace the H11 Fog light housing on the IPL bumper? Do I need to remove the whole bumper?

Thanks!

There is a service manual on here, for free.

You should be able to access them from underneath. Remove a few bolts from the fender liner on each side. I have a 10 G37S that I added fogs to. The side with the washer bottle is pretty tight. I have to remove the washer bottle to take out the housing. Beats pulling the bumper off for me.

^^ Thanks a lot! It's on my drivers side. I'll start removing some bolts tomorrow. I have an 08 Sports and I added on the IPL bumper.

What is a good brand ballast/bulb plug and play for the H11 fog housing for the IPL bumper? I want to match it to the D2S Osram CBI, I have on. Thanks!

I have Osram CBI to and for fog lights I have TRS LED fog lights. Very good match and You don't have to worry about bulbs ballast and all this stuff. TRS led fog lights are direct replacement for Infiniti fog lights.

Thanks a lot. I was also looking at LUXEON LED Fog Lamps from Diode Dynamics. I could swear, I read a lot of postings here, of people just plug and play to ballast and that's a wrap. That the fog runs in a different circuit story and its ok to just plug and play. Rather be safe though. The electrician told me that the pigtails from AC Delco gauges cannot carry the current safely and will eventually blow the bulb, fuse, ballast or worse catch on fire.
