Those aluminum trays look nice, but do they retain more heat in the engine bay?

Ouch.
They're pretty awesome fogs. 200 bucks nice? I dunno. At 100 they were a no brainer. At 200 I wouldn't have pulled the trigger.

Huh, weird. I wonder if it's just the angle of the photo not reflecting as much off of the projector?

Lol they are different, that's the new upgraded version, and the light output much better as to how well projected it is, as well as the optics are different, now I'm not saying the first gen sucks or anything like that, they're great but these are improved( I know since I had the first Gen and few weeks back I got a complimentary set of the upgraded ones (2nd Gen) from TRS, and installed them recently.

You can see the difference in color flicker, cutoff and how they're projected if you guys compare the pictures of the 1st gun's output previously posted in this thread and the ones I posted.

These are sick and they have a better more colorful cutoff than my headlights with STI-R lens and CBIs haha Plus their housings are black so that goes very well with my headlights' black housings.

Also it's worth to mention these are based off the Type GM fogs just require different specific bracket for our sedans

100 GB price for gen 1s or 200 for gen 2s? I'd take the 1s in that case. Still great lights!

Of course given the group buy price back then, $100 for 1st Gen no doubt, they're great lights of course, nobody said otherwise. But given the first gen are probably back to their original price or probably about to be discontinued, then second gen will be the only option for $30 more from 1st gen's original price

Yeah, no doubt it's worth 30 extra over original price if they've been upgraded a lot
