Too funny.

I'm with both of you guys. Technically I just ordered mine but I wasn't planning on installing them until spring as well. I know the temptation to put them on "just to see how they look" is going to be STRONG!

It gets easier after a month or so, having them sit in the corner collecting dust.

Spring will be here soon enough. Figure after that first hand-wash, claybar and wax, I'll be itching to work on the fogs.

Kind of annoyed that they unloaded a ton of prototypes with so-so fitment on us and have already made up a second version so soon.

well, you kind of can't be annoyed for that because the group buy price was great, I mean $100 for a set when they were $170 new is a great deal... The fitment is not bad, if you're talking about the lens of the fogs not lining up perfectly to the fog rings, I'm ok with that, barely noticeable...

Also worth mentioning is that, these are based if not completely the same foglights as the Type GM ones, the optics are the same and they look the same, they just use different brackets, mine even came with those 4 point brackets and the correct ones for our cars. I compared those to my brother's GM type ones in his G8 GT and they're the same thing, so my guess is they assumed these might work for our cars with the right bracket sooner than anticipated.

Errr. Slipped my mind.

Well heck, now I want to remove the bezel and fog from one side just to figure out what's going on with fitment... regardless of winter.

No, no, wait, it is what it is, and I'll deal with it in March or April. Damn it, Mike. LOL

There's a tiny gap between fog and trim. It's entirely invisible unless you're 6 inches from it. No big deal... And I'm very easily annoyed by things not being right.

Exactly what I'm trying to tell John, we're all alike here when it comes to getting easily annoyed by things being even the tiniest bit off

Didn't even notice a gap. Mine looks fine to me. Then again, I don't really care about these things. :P

If there's a noticeable gap in mine come springtime, I'm going to throw these in the trash. Then I'm going to drive to New Jersey and punch Mike's dog in the face.

LOL

How'd you get the lights to go on by themselves?
